Description

Alucomex® Transparent Silicone is a monolithic, acetic, anti-fungal thixtropic for general use. The cure of this material takes place at room temperature and with exposure to humid air, forming a resistant and flexible silicone rubber gasket. Ideal for sealing in construction, applied to glazed surfaces, aluminum, tempered glass and assembly, tiles and sanitary products.

One cartridge yields 7.90, in 6 x 6mm joints. Considering 7% waste.

Lifetime

12 months in a cool and dry cellar, in the closed container at a temperature below 26 ° Celsius.

Application

Clean and dry surface. Cut off the tip of the cartridge. Screw on the applicator nozzle, which should be cut at a 45 ° angle. Place the cartridge in the applicator gun and apply a continuous and uniform bead of the product to one of the parts. Assemble and remove excess product. After use, leave a small amount of product on the tip to form a plug. To use again remove the cap.

Cautions

Keep out of the reach of children and animals
Avoid direct contact of the product that is not dry with the sking and eyes. In case it happens, wash with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Apply in a ventilated place, since during drying the acetic acid vapor is released.
Do not return excess material to the original container to avoid contamination of the remaining product.

Recommendations

This product is not recommended for use with oxygen systems. It is not recommended as a sealant in systems that have chlorine in high concentrations and / or strong oxidizing materials. Products should be stored in a cool and dry place, in closed containers at a temperature below 26 ° Celsius.

Maintenance

It does not require any maintenance.
If the seal is damaged, replace the damaged section by cleaning the surface before applying the new sealant.

Limitations

It is not recommended on surface that are in continuous contact with water.
In floor or continuous traffic joints.
On galvanized sheet roofs.
